Today we celebrate the 815 Kidz! 😬🏁

The tag that started it all. The two little girls who started racing at 5 years old, chasing each other around the track, breaking parts, making memories, and building something bigger than we ever imagined.

While the team has grown and the name has evolved into Zaugg Motorsports, the 815 Kidz will always be where this story began. ❤️

So today, August 15th… we’re throwing it back and celebrating our OG 815 Kidz! 🏁

Not every race weekend ends with a trophy.

This weekend tested us. We fought through broken parts, a couple of DNFs, and the kind of challenges that remind you just how tough this sport can be. The results weren’t what we hoped for, but racing has a way of teaching lessons that victory never could.

The brightest moment of the weekend was welcoming our cousin, Rocco Addotta, to the team as he lined up for his first race in the same class as Zaylee and Zadie. Watching the three of them race together was something special.

As I stood back and watched all the kids laughing, helping each other, and making memories in the pits, I couldn’t help but think about Dad. He would’ve been smiling from ear to ear. Family was everything to him, and weekends like this—where cousins become teammates and racing brings everyone together—are exactly what he loved most.

We’ll load up the broken parts, get back to the shop, make the repairs, and come back stronger. That’s what racers do. We don’t quit when things get hard—we learn, we rebuild, and we keep chasing the next green flag.

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on, lent a hand, and continues to support our family and this journey. The results didn’t go our way, but the memories we made this weekend are worth far more than any trophy.
