Rockford Chariots Men’s Wheelchair Basketball

We teamed up with Therapeutic Recreation - Rockford Park District and Golf Rockford to offer staff a Paralympic day at Van Matre Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute.

The Chariots played a tough scrimmage game yesterday against the WASA Marquette Golden Eagles! In the end, the score was close at 42-38! It’s good to be playing again and the Chariots are ready to work on some things in the upcoming practices to strengthen their game!

The Chariots are working hard at practice! We practice every Tuesday at the UW Health Sports Factory from 7-8! If you think you would qualify to play wheelchair basketball in the NWBA league or want to come tryout the game in a chair, please join us for a practice sometime!
