Rough day is the way to describe Colton’s race, realized I had left my helmet at home 50 minutes before my race, luckily the race was close to home and I made it back 5 minutes before my race.

Mental mistakes cost the race early, was mid pack into the woods and it went downhill from there, got caught in two bottlenecks first lap and kept making bad line choices causing me to go down a lot during the race. Banged my leg up pretty good and smashed my pinky on a tree but fought hard and finished the race. Ran 16th in class from start to finish.

Lots of work to do to prepare for round 3 but I finished and will do better next round!
