Ironically, right in the middle of our ‘Anti Bullying & Sportsmanship Campaign’, we received an email that was accidentally forwarded to us by Heather Wolfe of Wolfe Hockey. In the email, Ms. Wolfe and a coworker, Jason Boyle, were engaged in a back-and-forth conversation in which they were slandering and defaming our business and members of our corporate staff, with the perceived intention of bringing tortious interference to our business.

We do not know, nor do we have any recollection of ever meeting, Ms. Wolfe or Mr. Boyle. FLTC is aware of their business and while it is true that we compete for many of the same clients in the same market, FLTC has always taken the approach of ‘respecting all, welcoming all, and allowing our product, standards and ethics to speak for themselves.’

Amazingly, the stock verbiage at the end of Ms. Wolfe’s email is:

Please remember that (company) does not promote one club over another, as we work with most area Youth & Junior Hockey Organizations. (Company) is here to train, evaluate, answer questions, and advise.

It would appear that Ms. Wolfe and Mr. Boyle show one face and image to the public, but have a very contradictory face and image behind the scenes, away from public view. It is FLTC’s belief that the ‘adults in the room’, those who are in the business of teaching, motivating, and inspiring the younger generation, just have to be better than this. We believe that these people should be honorable example setters, role models, people with integrity, and people without malicious intent.

We’re disappointed to find ourselves in this situation, but we’re 100% committed to doing what needs to be done to protect our name and the community.

We hope that Ms. Wolfe and Mr. Boyle can find happiness in their day to day; people can change and people do evolve so we wish them the best.

People always ask me - what's the best way to get my player ready for tryouts?

And my answer is always the same:

1. DO NOT SIGN THEM UP TO PLAY SPRING HOCKEY - spring hockey is not about development...spring hockey is about rinks and clubs making money

2. Register your player for a true developmental program where they will actually learn new skills, develop new skills and ne shown how to implement those new skills

We have only 5 spots left - literally...7 spots left for our spring Player Development Program with Coach Quinn, Coach Brandon or Coach Ben.

The program:
- starts the first week of February and runs through April - 15 sessions (1/week)
- all sessions are 1hr and 1 on 1 with a coach (NOT A GROUP!)
- the program is rooted in trackable metrics, linear development, mental coaching and results
- cost $1399
- We're so sure that your player will develop and make their desired team of choice that we're willing to back it up: if your player does make their team of choice during tryouts, we'll give you 2 additional free lessons as our way of saying congrats! If your player doesn't make their team of choice after tryouts, we'll give you 5 additional free lessons to help tweak whatever didn't work
