Good morning everyone!
For our home competition, the band will be offering walking tacos as a fundraiser this year.
We need help with supplies and need servers! Please see theGoogle Docto sign up to help. We are preparing to feed 150 students from our band and the other bands. Calling all band alumni! We are making the last football game of the year(October 16th) our alumni and 6th grade night! Anyone alumni that would like to come out and play pep band songs with the band on October 16th please email Mr. Colson and he can send you the pep band music for the game! We would love to see a lot of alumni with us that night! If you need an instrument let Mr. Colson know as well!

The marching band will be performing our entire show at halftime of this game, so all alumni and 6th graders would get a front row seat to see our competitive show!!!!

I apologize for not keeping everyone updated on what happened today because of weather. Phone Service at Echo Park stadium was really bad and I could barely connect to get communication from the event and calls. There was no WiFi for us to connect to.

We had many weather delays today. It started at lunch with a lightning delay, then another for lightning and rain, and then again for lightning and a downpour of rain. All students, staff, and parents remained safe throughout the day. Some of us got rained on, but we had a fun day!

Ultimately we did get to perform at 8pm tonight instead of the 3:37pm slot we had. The band still had a good performance and were in high spirits!

We are now on our way home and will make one stop for snacks and drinks and our ETA is 12am. Again, I do apologize for not being able to get information out, and I will do better about finding more ways to get information to everyone in the future at this event.

The marching band is on our way to the Legend Marching Festival! Any families and friends that want to help us move equipment on and off the field we will need you at our equipment truck by 2pm! More hands make light work for everyone! We perform today at 3:37pm!

We had a great time at tonight’s homecoming football game! For the first time in over a decade we had a band student win homecoming queen! Congratulations to Tania Hernandez Gonzalez on winning homecoming Queen! We are so proud of you!

Tomorrow the marching band has our homecoming competition at the Legend Festival at Echo Park Stadium! Come out and get a front row seat to the performance! We need as many people as possible to help move equipment! We perform at 3:37pm and would need help by 2pm!

We had a great time at the football game on Friday! Great job to the cheerleaders and mini cheerleaders for their performance at halftime!!!

We had a great time in the Arkansas Valley Fair Parade today! Thank you to everyone who cheered us on as we passed! Now the band gets a free weekend before we continue finishing our marching band show on Monday!
