Free Fish Spa

Aka just standing in the middle of a river. I actually wanted to go to Barton Springs Pool, but they were closed for Spring cleaning 😅. So after a bite to eat I continued walking and saw others swimming in the Colorado River. So good!

When I waded in the water I was met by my fish friends who decided to nibble on my feet. There were a lot of them! I enjoyed watching them congregate around my legs and for the more curious, taste me lol.

If you want to go to a really chill place to be in the sun and water in Austin, Barton Springs is a great place 🙏🏿🤙🏿

Lake Cuyamaca | Julian, California 🇺🇲

Having left San Diego back in 2005, much has changed. What I appreciate though is a new found love of nature and rediscovering the place of my youth and the beauty that makes San Diego "America's Finest City." If I can, I will go into the forests, mountains, lakes, rivers and ocean as I feel most at home and ease with Mother Nature. Lake Cuyamaca provided a great one day escape from Suburbia. My brother could fish, my ohana could cook s'mores, and for me, I could wander the trails and the forests at my leisure. Really grateful for the time I spent there...and the Julian Dutch Crumble Apple Pie 🥧🤤😋

Such a beautiful setting in the Portlock area of Oahu. The edgy brown cliffs contrasts the vivid blue ocean. On a hot day it's so tempting to jump into the water, yet this place is well known to have taken the lives of those who took the jump. Enjoy Hawaii's beauty, just respect the power of Mother Nature 🙏🏿🤙🏾

Tamil Nadu

It's amazing to see the religious sites in Tamil Nadu. They are the architects of some of the most ornate and beautiful sacred places of worship I've ever seen (think Angkor Wat and Batu Caves). They've lasted the rest of time and have l am grateful to have seen and experienced being there.

Hotteok

This delicious snack quickly became one of my favorite foods in South Korea. The best way for me to describe it is like a flattened fried dough (kinda like a doughnut) with different kinds of fillings.

I came up on this spot randomly walking through streets nearby Gyeongbokgung Palace. The flavor I've gotten accustomed to is the honey with seeds and nuts. The ladies were so nice to give me an extra one! Kansahamnida ☺️
