Welcome to my food blog. Welcome to my personal blog, where I share my passion for two things I love dearly: cooking and cycling. The catch?
During my time in college in the 1990s, I gained experience in restaurant kitchens: prep cook, pizza/ pasta, sauté, grill, breads & pastries... Fresh out of the oven and smelling amazing : This week it’s Kalamata Olive Loaf baked to go with our Halloween favorite pumpkin soup. Think crusty, olive-packed perfection that's equal parts salty. PM to reserve a loaf.

This is great advice from Chef Ramsay. In my 35 years of cycling, I never really used my helmet until New Year's Eve 2021. Sydni, some friends, and I set out to ride 100 miles. At mile 70, I clipped a pole, went over the handlebars, and landed on the back of my head. My POC helmet took the impact and saved me from serious head injury. I recovered from broken ribs, and my separated shoulder required two surgeries to heal. Head injuries are much harder to recover from! https://www.instagram.com/p/C8PYfVNxxFC/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
