Sandlot Crew 14U Survive Tri-Valley Babe Ruth 14U All Stars

Sandlot Crew 14U built a 4-run lead in the fourth inning and then held off Tri-Valley Babe Ruth 14U All Stars's charge for an 8-7 victory on Monday. Tri-Valley Babe Ruth 14U All Stars closed the gap by scoring on a single and a single.

Tri-Valley Babe Ruth 14U All Stars got on the board in the top of the first inning after Tanner Hearrean singled down the right field line, and Cole Mattos grounded out, each scoring one run.

Sandlot Crew 14U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 5-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Cruz Lattin that drove in two.

Sandlot Crew 14U added one run in the third. Castin Allen-Wetch singled to center field, making the score 6-4.

Allen-Wetch earned the win for Sandlot Crew 14U. The right-handed pitcher allowed four hits and four runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking two. Grant Perotti started the game for Tri-Valley Babe Ruth 14U All Stars. The right-handed pitcher allowed six hits and six runs over two and one-third innings, striking out three and walking two. Markos Hamilton collected the save. Kolton Jeremiah appeared in relief for Sandlot Crew 14U.

Blake Whitson and Allen-Wetch were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Sandlot Crew 14U while hitting back-to-back. Lattin and Allen-Wetch were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Sandlot Crew 14U.

Perotti and Kevin Cho each collected two hits for Tri-Valley Babe Ruth 14U All Stars. Perotti, Cody Truitt, Mattos, and Hearrean each drove in one run for Tri-Valley Babe Ruth 14U All Stars. Aaron Edington stole two bases.

Sandlot Crew 14U Beat Elk Grove

Sandlot Crew 14U beat Elk Grove 5-4 on Saturday at 75 Beamer St.

Sandlot Crew 14U were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run.

Elk Grove captured the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third after Elk Grove scored on a wild pitch, and Sandlot Crew 14U committed an error, each scoring one run.

Sandlot Crew 14U took the lead, 5-2, in the bottom of the fourth thanks to singles by Lorenzo Fuller, Dylan Hayes, and Giggy Malta.

Pablo Castro opened the game for Sandlot Crew 14U. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking four. Zimmerle began the game for Elk Grove. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and five runs (four earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out none and walking none. Milo Nishijima appeared in relief for Sandlot Crew 14U.

Sandlot Crew 14U accumulated 10 hits in the game. Hayes led Sandlot Crew 14U with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Fuller and Malta each collected two hits for Sandlot Crew 14U. Malta and Joshua Leu each stole multiple bases for Sandlot Crew 14U. Sandlot Crew 14U stole eight bases in the game.

#4 went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Elk Grove's Oprean, the number nine hitter, led Elk Grove with three hits in three at bats. Zimmerle paced Elk Grove with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Rodrigues stole two bases.

All American Baseball (AAB) 14U Victorious Over DeVo LumberKings 14U

All American Baseball (AAB) 14U were triumphant over DeVo LumberKings 14U 6-4 on Thursday at Golden Eagle Regional Park.

A double by Henry Shaw put DeVo LumberKings 14U on the board in the bottom of the first.

DeVo LumberKings 14U committed an error, which helped All American Baseball (AAB) 14U tie the game at one in the top of the third.

All American Baseball (AAB) 14U took the lead in the top of the fourth inning after Connor Williams singled down the right field line, Matthew Kouvaris singled to center field, and Landen Ichien doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Lukas Mitchell stepped on the bump first for All American Baseball (AAB) 14U. The pitcher surrendered six hits and four runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking one. Colten Lusk started the game for DeVo LumberKings 14U. The pitcher surrendered 10 hits and five runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking none. Ben Stone tossed one inning of no-run ball for All American Baseball (AAB) 14U in relief. The hurler gave up zero hits, striking out one and walking two.

All American Baseball (AAB) 14U tallied 13 hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Giggy Malta led All American Baseball (AAB) 14U with three hits in four at bats. Ichien and Williams each drove in one run for All American Baseball (AAB) 14U. Luke Ross and Kouvaris each collected multiple hits for All American Baseball (AAB) 14U.

Shaw provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led DeVo LumberKings 14U with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Shaw and Jaydn Kitchin each collected two hits for DeVo LumberKings 14U. DeVo LumberKings 14U turned one double play in the game.

Matthew Kouvaris’s Big Day Propels All American Baseball (AAB) 14U Past BlackSox Nation 14U

Matthew Kouvaris drove in six runs on two hits to lead All American Baseball (AAB) 14U past BlackSox Nation 14U 14-3 on Wednesday at Golden Eagle Regional Park. Kouvaris hit a grand slam to left field in the fifth inning, scoring four runs, and singled in the first inning, scoring two.

All American Baseball (AAB) 14U jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Derek Bjork doubled, scoring one run, Connor Williams singled, scoring one run, and Kouvaris singled, scoring two runs.

All American Baseball (AAB) 14U added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Luke Ross singled to center field, Giggy Malta grounded out, Bjork grounded into a fielder's choice, and Tyler Graham singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Kouvaris hit a grand slam to left field in the top of the fifth for the All American Baseball (AAB) 14U.

Ben Stone led things off on the hill for All American Baseball (AAB) 14U. The hurler surrendered six hits and three runs over five innings, striking out five and walking three. Jaxsen Baker opened the game for BlackSox Nation 14U. The pitcher surrendered five hits and six runs (four earned) over one inning, striking out none and walking none.

All American Baseball (AAB) 14U tallied 10 hits in the game. Graham and Kouvaris each collected two hits for All American Baseball (AAB) 14U.

Mils Klockner, the number eight hitter for BlackSox Nation 14U, led the way with two runs batted in. Klockner went 2-for-2 on the day. Klockner and Dresden Ge**er each collected two hits for BlackSox Nation 14U. BlackSox Nation 14U turned one double play in the game.
