What do you do with a thrifted Brand new size 2X cozy sweatshirt that has advertising on it? Cover it up! This sweatshirt just went from drab and unforgettable, too unbelievably beautiful.

When a thrifted denim jacket, some scraps of men’s shirt and a few purchased calico prints becomes a star! This garment was born from transforming pre-loved clothing into wearable art! The best part, these textiles were diverted from a landfill.

The first cut is the deepest as well as the scariest! 😎 It’s time to make myself a fall duster.

In my mind this Duster was going to be great! I love when your image in mind comes out so much lovelier! OMG! Fall needs to get here quickly, this is the prefect light jacket for those fall days. I’ll work on getting it listed in my Etsy shop.

The first cut is the scariest! In my mind this will be amazing when it’s done. Check back in for the reveal!

When your quilting guide won’t stay put, you pivot and MacGyver it! 🤣😉

Latest up-cycle, a pair of jeans made into a skirt with 3 men’s dress shirts for a fun flirty ruffle. Fun fact, the pale blue fabric was a Hermes 😎 Talk about a fun refashion! Available in my Etsy shop.

Hubby needed some fresh sourdough bread. Made some focaccia too, for some friends 😃

Today’s project was an Up-cycle, took 2 mens shirts and made a ladies high-low coat. The last picture is what was left of the two shirts that I didn’t use. They will go into my scrap bin for later use, so I call this a win on saving 2 items that could have wound up in a landfill. Saving the environment one up-cycle at a time.

Today was spent pattern testing with this adorable drawstring bandana tote bag. Made from 2 22”x22” bandanas that I quilted. This is one large tote sure to hold whatever you need it to.
