MEET ATHLETE INGELIN ROD in Norway. She's a great example of how training for your female physiology makes you much stronger and faster! 🚲 💪🏼She has been using what she has learned in the WeTri Women's Academy online and adjusted her nutrition / training sessions / recovery & strength training. ♀️
She has accomplished a new FTP on the bike and is now WINNING bike races on zwift!! ⚡⚡And she is experiencing more strength in her run for triathlon.
Women who train the right way for their physiology are getting much stronger and faster!! Educate yourself and don't be left behind. Women are beginning to use training methods that we now know works for female athletes!! These women will experience awesome results while others may be left behind. ♀️ I don't want any women left behind.

Mental game lesson today 🌼
Letting go of the stale views and opinions about yourself as an athlete is so important! In order to create what is truly possible in your athletic journey you must release old views about yourself. 🌼 And adjust your belief system to accept that so much more is possible than you thought.
I teach my athletes to open their belief system and open up the space and energy to allow what is truly possible. We do this with mini visualizations and other things. This is one of the most powerful things you can do in your journey. It's the area that I have seen makes the most significant difference immediately in an athletes journey and progress. 🌼

The female athletes that train to their female physiology get stronger and faster than the women who train using the same thing as male athletes. This goes for nutrition as well as nutrition timing, training plan timing and types of sessions and types of recovery and timing. ♀️ The athletes who are using these things are getting WAY faster than the athletes who are not. I see it all the time! ♀️Understand the difference between marketing and real science and what we now know works for female athletes. ♀️

This is very common!! As estrogen drops either in the menstrual cycle or perimenapause and menopause so does the thirst response. 💦 Female athletes should not rely on thirst to signal drinking because hormones change that response yes even during your monthly cycle 😉💦 keep sipping and make sure you are planning out your hydration with electrolytes 💦 YOU NEED EXCELLENT HYDRATION TO CREATE REAL POWER

Female athletes experience more GI issues than male athletes. Our system is different than men so we have different needs in hydration and nutrition during training and races in order to create more energy, power, endurance and less inflammation.
💦Hydration should be lower in carbs and not include gut issue ingredients like stevia and maltodextrine.
🍌Nutrition is different also... As women need to avoid certain types of ingredients and foods... Many of which are in common endurance products right now
