It’s been a minute. I am the most inconsistent poster ever.
But, yeah, life’s been life-ing, business has been evolving, and I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes.
The lives of other women are always on my mind and in my heart. Right now, I know many women — including me — have been walking around completely maxed out. Holding it all. Trying to figure out what’s next without dropping everything in the process. Or maybe things are falling and they are harshly judging themselves. I get it and I want to help change all of that.
The cool thing is that I can because I'm still coaching, now consulting, still in the work of helping women reset, reconnect, and move forward in a way that actually feels good.
More soon. I’ve got something to share this week that might be exactly what you need — or exactly what someone you love needs.
Either way, it’s good to be back in your feed.

Hello, Friends!
It’s been a long time since I’ve updated here, so I wanted to share what’s new. For the past few years, I’ve been deeply engaged in my role at Sash Group Inc., leading projects in customer experience, marketing, and team development. It’s been incredibly rewarding to help drive growth, build connections, and empower teams. (I've included my LinkedIn profile which features a few projects I've completed recently.)
Recently, I’ve transitioned to working with Sash in a part-time contractor capacity, which has given me the space to return to a passion that’s close to my heart: coaching and consulting. The work I’ve done at Sash has reinforced just how transformative small changes can be for businesses, especially when leaders feel overwhelmed wearing all the hats.
Coaching can be a game changer. It helps you get clear, reduce overwhelm, and implement strategies to grow your business—whether by improving processes, automating where it makes sense, or sharpening leadership skills. When leaders can focus on what matters most—your customers and clients—the results are incredible.
I’m thrilled to announce that I’m now offering consulting and business coaching services! If you’re ready to optimize your customer experience, elevate your leadership, or create a growth strategy, I’d love to collaborate.
Stay tuned for updates, and feel free to reach out if you’d like to work together—or just to reconnect.

I think coaching gets a bad rap. People often think it's someone with a weekend's worth of training (or none!) handing out advice for how to life your life. I know that happens and it's not how coaching is supposed to go!
If you work with someone who is well-trained, committed to life-long learning, clear on the coaching relationship (a partnership where the client takes the lead), and who communicates openly, it can be a life-changer. Your life can become better. It can go from meh, or good, or great, to truly extraordinary.
Why would someone work with a coach?
You'll have access to new, informed perspectives on the challenges you face. A coach can help you you distinguish limiting beliefs and patterns of behavior that are getting in the way of you living the life you want.
Working with a coach means working on closing the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. That means you CAN achieve real, measurable results in:
Achieving work/life balance
Overcoming fears and anxieties
Developing leadership (personal and professional)
Financial circumstances
Communication skills
Creating more meaning and purpose work life
Connection in relationships with friends, family, and self
It's not a magic pill. It is a process. It starts with looking at what you'd like to have that you don't have right now. Then, ask yourself (with brutal honesty), why you don't yet have it. You are likely to see that you've stopped when you've tried to get it in the past. That is NORMAL! We all have blocks in some areas of life and getting supported in overcoming them is an act of courage. It's badass to ask for help. When you ask a coach, you're going to get a supportive partner who will hold on to your vision of an extraordinary life while helping you move past those blocks, once-and-for-all!
Actually, it starts with a conversation. Let me know if you want to talk.

Hi All. Our online program is up to something new and exciting. You can join our Road Trip program as part of a cohort and get group coaching with Shawntell Hansen and me!
We're about to finish up the first one and it's been incredible. Check out the details and let me know what you think.
The Road Trip - Jobash
Road Trips can be a ton of fun. We take a journey with friends or family where we talk, sing, and see the world around us. We aren’t alone, so we don't have to do all the driving. There is a sense of excitement about what it will be like when we get to our destination.

I've created a project for myself called "Lightness of Being" and it's essentially working on self love.
I've been toying around with declaring specific outcomes in this area of my life for two years. Yet, between resistance and the "story" that it's "too hard" to quantify, it's taken me until now to get here.
Some of my desired outcomes are:
💫 Creating sufficiency and support in every area of my life
💫 Having transformative, two-way relationships
💫 Becoming Unf**kwithable (not a typo)
💫 Living from fearless vulnerability
💫 Being physically strong, easy, juicy, flexible, and beautiful
💫 Granting instant grace to myself and others
Yes, that's just "some" of what I'll be up to with this project.
I'm sharing it here because although it's taken me a while to get clear and ready to take action, I can't imagine this project would even exist if I hadn't found coaching. The transformational training, the relationships with my coaches and my clients, and the light switch that it all turned on showing me POSSIBILITY is how I grow and change every day.
So, now I'm officially declaring outcomes in self-love. Generating a "Lightness of Being" that will allow me and my life to transform yet again.
I would love to hear what are you up to and how it's going for you.
Do you have something that you would LOVE to be up to and you've got some resistance? Some reason why you can't or shouldn't? Let's talk 😉

Hi there. I’m Jocelyn and I’d love to share a little bit about how I got here. (How I got to coaching and not this rock in Italy!) I became a coach because coaching completely transformed my life. I got to know myself and who I really am, not just what I do to earn my place in the world or peopl...

Not to be rude, but seriously, if you're playing it safe, what are you doing?
I have had my ass kicked so many times I've lost count and it's totally cool with me. The alternative is to stay safe, comfortable, and boring. If you've met me, you know that's not how I'm made. The result is that I've taken some pretty major wrong turns and found myself "face down in the arena" but I keep getting back up. I'd like to think each time I rise a bit stronger, wiser, and more compassionate. Oddly enough, I'm also more willing to take more chances.
How about you? Tell me about putting yourself out there and getting YOUR ass kicked. I want to hear your story.

I just spent the weekend out of town without any contact lenses or glasses. This is a big deal because my vision is BAD. Like "can't see anything but the giant E on the vision chart" bad.
Needless to say, it was an interesting (and blurry) weekend. Luckily, I had Nichole MacDonald and her extensive wardrobe to dress me and to lead me. We relaxed, talked, drank wine, and laughed (I cried a bit too because when there is enough talking, eventually I'm likely to cry).
When I got back home and was able to see clearly for the first time in 60 hours, here's what I thought: Seeing clearly is a gift. Literally and metaphorically. When we can't see clearly, we're slow, confused, and indecisive (you should have seen me trying to work my way through Bath and Body Works). When we see clearly, we step with confidence on the path ahead, choose quickly, and keep on keeping on.
If you literally can't see, you get some contacts, some glasses, or some Lasik. You don't run around half blind trying to get through life. This is not up for debate.
If you can't metaphorically see clearly in your life, you get a coach to ask you questions that will allow YOU to get YOURSELF clear. This should also not be up for debate. Consider that it may be time to stop wandering around by yourself trying to figure out where the scent of foaming hand soap is that you want. Maybe you don't even know if you want a candle or hand soap or if you are even in the right store.
What if all you had to do was be clear that you want your life to be extraordinary? We can work out what that actually LOOKS like from there.
(In this photo I literally cannot see a foot in front of me. My eyes are totally unfocused, aren't they? 🤣 )

Hey all! I also posted this on the Jobash page (in case it looks familiar).
Yes, I'm a coach and a single mom, a business owner, and a human being too.
Today, Monday morning, and my "time blocking" structure for making sure to focus on my highest commitments broke all the way down before noon.
I have been trying to get my kid's doctor on the phone to work something out that can't be handled online that has to be handled by Wednesday (it was a "to do" last week that did not get "done" and is now urgent). Monday morning is the worst time to deal with this stuff, however, I brought dog's to my co-working space, which is 25 miles from home (but near daughter's school). This was a total brain fart because the doggos cannot come to her volleyball game. This means an hour drive to take them home and come back. AND that's why I needed to be on the phone with the doctor's office before noon.
Handled my client calls and communication and cleaned up some important lose ends. Still, I felt like my higher commitments (the list I made and that informed my time blocking) were lost to my carelessness. Why didn't I get to the doctor stuff last week? What was I thinking bringing the dogs today? What a spectacular waste of time with that extra drive home and back again???
Then I realized that was all automatic and habituated ways of looking at the situation and I chose to look at it all differently.
I am TOTALLY committed to taking care of my child's physical well-being. I even scheduled something for myself that is long overdue. Heeeey self-care!
I am committed to my dogs' quality of life and they love being with me and I them. We're spending time together and that's important.
I got to connect with my business partner and one of the loves of my life Shawntell Hansen to tell her all about this and that connection is one of my very highest commitments.
I get an extra hour alone with my teenage daughter. Being with her anytime - highest of the highest, most important Cs!
Did I move my business forward in ways I had planned? Catch up on admin or planning or solidify some important plans today? No. And I'll take care of it tomorrow. Nothing is lost. No one damaged.
In fact, I'm loving the way I was able to shift my focus and chose to see how some of my highest commitments were met when I let go of how I thought things HAD to go today. That releasing and allowing actually moved my BEING forward.
So yeah, stuff kind of came tumbling out of my messy closet and I'm totally cool with it. Plus, I still have 8th grade volleyball to look forward to and probably froyo afterwards.

Hello friends, family, and other people who liked my page (aka future friends, clients, teachers, colleagues, etc.)!
I thought it might be a good idea to let you know what I offer as a coach, so here it is:
One to one coaching of individuals who want to create EXTRAORDINARY lives. This means you are ready to get into your goo. Perhaps you have been the very best caterpillar on the tree. You have survived the predators and eaten the very juiciest leaves and now you want something more. You don't yet know what the butterfly version of you will be and you know the next part is messy. You've accepted that it's going to be uncomfortable, maybe a little gross and you are here for it.
Hell yeah, it's going to get weird and maybe a bit of a plan and some support is a good idea. Weird is in my wheelhouse, and so is radical support, and co-creating the version of you that flies off that old tree into purpose-filled possibility. For more information go to www.jocelynmacdonaldcoaching.com
(I also offer need-based reduced pricing.)
Group coaching of people who are also up to something extraordinary and know they want to create that next version in connection with a group of other people where the support is expanded and relationships are built-in with the coaching. You're not only willing, but excited to share your journey so others can relate. www.jocelynmacdonaldcoaching.com (Groups form as requested and pricing is based on group size,)
Self-guided, online coaching for women who want more from their lives. This is for you if you want a program that packs six months of coaching content into one self-paced program AND has an exclusive online community that is included with the program. too. Visit www.Jobash.com for all the details.
Please comment or message me if you have any questions or just want to connect!
