Yesterday started off with a friend asking if I could create her some counting houses. (Third image is the inspiration she sent me.) So I got to work on figuring something out.

The initial concept was a house for each sum and all its addition combinations, but who wants 10 houses laying around? So I consolidated it into a single house with removable inserts and interchangeable discs to place at the top of the house.

I have more supplies on the way for a better bead/counter design and little drawstring bag to place all the misc pieces in. That bag can then be tied to the hole at the very top so everything stays together for easy storage.

In addition, the sticks and discs can be used as base ten counters, used for tally mark practice and so much more!

I still might make a few alterations like painting the back piece white before assembling it together so you can more clearly see which slots are open. But overall, it was a fun change of pace from what we usually do.

We’re thinking about offering both a kid and adult DIY subscription box, where we would package up the supplies needed for you to customize and craft your own project at home every month. Then we’d have it available for either local pick up or ship it to you.

Decided that we needed a Valentine’s Day door hanger today. Normally not a huge fan of glitter. Well, not when our kids are crafting with it. 🤪 But glitter from the bow spread all over the sign. Can’t say I hate it ... 😍

We’ve been working on some custom orders today along with some other new things we can’t wait to share with you.
