Thank you to everyone who showed up last Saturday Nov 1st for the 6 Ball Challenge! 18 teams of singles/doubles competed warmly with nice weather and play. Congratulations to Kue Lee for securing another win engraving on the trophy in a close 13-12 match against Phominik Lee.

Thank you to all who came and played at our Spring Fling Select Doubles Today! It also happened to be the anniversary of the 1st Tournament ever held at the courts in Mather Sports Center in Rancho Cordova 28 years ago (1997)! The courts were built in an old part of the Air Force base after part of it closed down (1995). Many parts of the infrastructure still present at the courts were from the old air base such as the shed (military communications box), bleachers (baseball field), and rail ties and more. Pictured below is also a flier from the original 1997 tournament.

Congrats to the winners today! Hamid and Pao took first in a great match against McMone Lee and his son Kumone. And Adam Grace and Tom took 3rd in a great 3rd place match against Tim and Kue.

Thanks to all who came to the 6 Ball Challenge yesterday. Congratulations to Paul Moua for winning 1st place and will have his name engraved for 2023! Brendan Cohen took 2nd and Bee Moua in 3rd. And we had our court mascot still wolfie watching over!

A beautiful day at Mather. The trees are stunning right now. We had club francais players enjoying great games and Sactown Petanque players playing winter singles league matches! We can still play great petanque in the off season, just remember the only noble games to play in this sport are with the boules! 😄

Thank you to all those who came to participate in the Annual 6 Ball Tournament! We had a great event with 18 teams mostly single people playing 6 balls! Congrats to Mike Lee for winning the tournament! And Brendan Cohen for 2nd place and Bee Moua for 3rd place Sactown Petanque .

The Club Francais de Sacramento is working hard to diversify our court surfaces in preparation to host the National FPUSA Men’s and Women’s Doubles (June 5th), and Mixed Doubles Tournament (June 6th). We are very excited to be adding more professional style rocks and surfaces to our courts. We look forward to seeing you here!
