The New Athlete Orientation for incoming Freshman and current students who plan on competing in athletics next school year, is tomorrow (Thursday), May 14th. It starts at 50’ and goes to 6:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room/Cafeteria.

Please plan on attending this meeting. It will cover important information on PG athletics as a whole.

Introductions of and Q&A sessions with all the Head Coaches will follow.

Here are your “Athletes of the Month” for April 2026! Congratulations to them!!
 
Each athlete will be treated to a Chick-Fil-A lunch today, Wednesday May 6th  for their pursuit and commitment to excellence as a PG Student-Athlete the “Right Way”. Please recognize and congratulate them if/when you get a chance.

The Armstead Academic Project is hosting a free youth football camp on May 16, led by Arik Armstead and Shaq Thompson, for youth ages 8–17. Given Arik’s connection as a Pleasant Grove alumnus, they wanted to ensure we at PG school received a formal invitation on behalf of AAP.

Congratulations to PG’s own Kate Myers for winning the A. Dale Lacky Scholarship.

The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Sac-Joaquin Section awards the annual A. Dale Lacky Scholar-Athlete Award which highlights outstanding athletic performance, community service and academic success throughout the students’ high school years.

PG Tennis’ Xavier Cools (a Sophomore), and Chan Lam (a Freshman) won the doubles flight C at yesterday’s Delta League Doubles Championships!!

For Chan, it was the first time he’s played Varsity, so it’s extra special!

Congrats to both of these outstanding student-athletes!!

Pleasant Grove Volleyball’s Koji Fidel competed recently in the USA Open Karate Championships in Texas recently. He went 5-0 and won his Division of 16-18 year old +76kg Weight Class.
