The draft is coming and the QB situation has become interesting. The teams that need a QB are jockeying for position to get one. I think CJ Stroud has the most upside. A lot of the pundits like Bryce Young. The reality is none of these 1st year QB’s will turn these struggling franchises around 1st year. Where will they be in their 2nd or 3rd year??

This game has risks. These men play the game because they are great competitors and they play for their family and teammates. Tonight’s injury shocked everyone. The look on his teammates said it all. A member of their family has had a life threatening injury. It’s not about the game any more. One of their own is fighting for his life. Prayers for your recovery.

The Seahawks will open a new page as Russell is gone and chance for a new QB to take control of the offense. Good luck to the new OL men drafted. Interesting season this year.

Joe Burrows and JaMarr Chase are the real deal. These Bengals are fighters!! The first turnover by KC Results in a catch-up TD.

The coaching business is tough. A great friend and a very good coach lost his job the other day. Players make the coach and when your not surrounded with good players or at least good players at key positions (QB ) it’s difficult to succeed.

Just returned from Logan Utah and watched the Utah St / Boise St game. But even better got to visit with many of our former players that we coached under Bruce Synder. We had great players and great people. Great fun to talk about the old days but even better to see how their families and careers have gone. Go Aggies!

Just returned from the NFL HOF in Canton Ohio. One of the best OL I had the privilege of coaching Steve Hutchinson new inductee. A great time seeing Steve and his teammates and especially the stories. A bunch of great players but more importantly HIGH character people! 1st class.
