Khristian Dove doing work in the off season!!
Denzen Cortez in his final match performed well. He had an awesome leg attack for the takedown and some good turns. Denzen got the fall with a nice cradle at the end of the video. Great job, Denzen!
This Joey Manez in a boxing match??!! Nice slap to your opponents ear. He calmed down after that and took care of business with some nice takedowns and the victory!!

Dafne Guadarrama was our only girl that competed this year. She trained pretty hard all last summer and thru the school year. Unfortunately, there were no other girls her size to wrestle this year. But she didn’t shy away from challenging some guys! She is a really good wrestler with the state meet in her future! (I got a little nervous during the match so that is why the camera work was not very good.)

Ahmaad Lewis is a force on the mat!! He was on point at Laguna Creek and looked very similar to his older brother, Malik, with the ankle pick, a half, and an arm bar!!
Mateo Barry (130 lbs) had one of the most exciting matches of the night. We might have to nickname him Houdini because he is always getting in and out of trouble.

Ty Clark at 120 lbs with a sharp single leg and some great turns in his 40 second fall. Ty is only a sophomore and should be a big threat for Franklin wrestling moving forward.
Jackson Calvert scoring 2 with a buzzer be**er. Jackson won all of his matches this year and is currently ranked #12 in the state at 108 lbs.
