Crew wanted to stay close to home and catch stripers,..Yea...I have a spot for that! Steady action all day, trolling 75 deg water. Several doubles. All spawned out down river fish. Still plenty of fish around this late in the game. No shortage of stripers. Put your hand in the water, if it comes back wet, there's stripers in it. Call Capt. Brandon Beachum at 916-289-0432 to book a trip.

Not sure where he came from or where he was going but this Bull Elk passed through our ranch this month. I saw a big bull a couple years ago about 11 miles away as the crow flys. Figured he got pushed down from a fire or something. After seeing this one on our property, maybe there's a population somewhere close by. Pretty cool, only time will tell if he stayed in the area or not.
