Unfortunately, we have to cancel our last shows that were scheduled for Sept. 7-8 and practice Sept. 29 due to a co-chair stepping down and our inability to replace them. We hope to see everyone next year if a new co-chair is appointed.

CSHA Region 13 Gymkhana is in need of sponsors for our year-end/high-point awards. Our riders have worked hard all year to qualify and they deserve to be recognized. We also have some riders who will represent our region at the CSHA State Championships in October.

Donations of any amount are appreciated and are tax deductible. Your business will also be advertised at our shows and on our page! Feel free to message me with questions or if you want to donate.

Are you interested in competing at CSHA's state championship show? If you are a CSHA direct member/club member and have ridden/will ride at least 5 of our shows, you are qualified!!

Here's your chance to win a nice custom saddle, as well as a buckle. The stall/pen deposits are due postmarked by AUGUST 5th!!! Even if you are just thinking of attending, I would send in deposits; they are refundable if you decide not to go later. Also, if deposits aren't postmarked by AUGUST 5th, the total pen/stall fees are DOUBLED!!! So, get those deposits in the mail.

1st: don't forget about our next show tomorrow and Sunday in Blue Lake! Sign-ups start @ 8am and first event starts @ 9am.

2nd: our next region meeting is this upcoming Tuesday the 9th. As always, it is @ 6pm @ Pepper's restaurant in Arcata. Be involved!! We want everyone to have a say. Come and tell us what you think.

3rd: keep working on getting sponsorships!! The more sponsors we get, the better prizes we can have for day-end and year-end awards. Remember: every $100 in sponsorships gets you 1 free entry into one of our shows. The sponsors we get will be advertised on our page, and they are tax deductible. Ask your vet, farrier, auto shop, workplace, family/friends, etc. to help support our group!!!

Ready for another round of gymkhana? I can't think of a more perfect way to celebrate the 4th. See you this weekend!!
