Nathaniel and I had a blast practicing postures after class. Enjoy the attached photos of "Triangle Pose with Power Fist," "Modified Triangle Pose with Power Fist," "Headstand, " and "Modified Headstand" against the wall. The benefits are as follows: Triangle Pose builds stability, flexibility, and spatial awareness.

There are many variations of headstands. Tripod Headstand is a popular practice in Martial Arts. Pictures are of Tripod Headstand and Modified Tripod Headstand. A martial artist's headstand is an inversion exercise used in disciplines like Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and yoga to build core strength, neck conditioning, and balance. It uses a tripod base, where the majority of body weight is supported by the hands and arms rather than the neck.

Kids' classes are every Monday, resuming June 15th at 6:30 P.M. - 7:15 P.M.; Teens are every Wednesday, June 10th at 6:00 P.M. - 6:45 P.M.; and Adults are every Wednesday, June 10th at 7:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

The Teens series will end with a community build-a-poem, and the adults’ series will end with an extended meditation.
