What are you rc plans for the weekend? If your looking for somewhere to race come check out Auburn Performance Dirt Oval. We have two days of racing this week. Friday the 21 we are having open practice and then a 300 lap stock slash race. Saturday we are having round 4 of the gold rush series. Friday gates open at 4 open practice tell 7 when slash race starts. Saturday gates open at 3 racing at 6. Hope to see you out there.

What a night of racing at Auburn Performance Dirt Oval. The track as always was perfect. Had great grip very little tire wear and clean fun racing with a great group of guys. Andrew finally put his night together and showed his potential. He finished third in b-mod led a few laps and showed he can run with the fast guys. He also ran in the stock slash class for the first time and got a strong third in that. Michael Sareeram had another great night in wingless taking the win. That's three in a row. We finally got him a set up on the Wing car. He made it up to 4th in main when he has a electrical gremlin. Time to switch him over to Team Powers. I had one of my best nights of racing with two wins and a second. I finished second to Mike in wingless running the Tim Brown Speed Machine. I took home the win in Wing sprint car with by far the easiest car I have ever driven. My Team Powers motor esc had way more than enough smooth usable power. I tried a new De tire this week the Phenom. All I can say is that I could do what ever I wanted with the car. I had complete faith in side bit and forward bite. I could drive it so hard and deep into the corner and it would stick. We also had a great race just the three of us in 4wd Buggy late model. We all turned equal lap times and it became more of a race to see who could get the fasted lap. Andrew was able to take that title with a 4.9 second lap. In the end I got the win Michael Sareeram finished second and Andrew Sareeram finished third. I have had a lot of great times in my racing life. But by far this had to be one of the greats days I have had. Any parent knows the feeling of seeing your kids succeed. And when you can compete against them and all of you have success there is no better feeling. I want to thank every one that makes this all possible.
