To be honest, I’ve been impatiently waiting for this news and it’s finally here. I know many of you have called texted and asked but we just didn’t have our numbers back yet.

We wanted to do a live to announce our High School National Qualifiers but we also didn’t want anyone to wait any longer.

So this huge honor goes to the teams listed in the photo. They all worked their tails off to get this opportunity and we send out congratulations to all these teams!

It was a great championship weekend for our STA Anglers.

We did not finish as high as we would have liked, but runner up is not bad. Congratulations to Walker High School Fishing Team. They had an outstanding weekend of fishing.

Individually, we had 2 teams in the top 15. Jackson and Jake finished in 9th place with a total bag weight of 18.45 lbs.

Brae and Trey finished 11th with a total bag weight of 18.08 lbs. In addition, they finished 2nd place in the East Trail. This finish should earn them a bid to the National Championship this summer at Kentucky Lake in Paris l, Tennessee.

Congratulations to the STA anglers who fished the Manchac Qualifier. St. Amant placed 1st over all.

Individual honors go to Jackson and Jake with a 2nd place finish with 10.99 pound. and qualifying for state. Tray and Brae finished 4th with 9.26 pounds and also qualified for state.
