Mindy Creek Trails Races
Marathon, half marathon and 10k will take start at 7am and finish at the Polk County Tourism in St. Event that is composed of many different trails in St. Croix falls that will challenge everyone with technical sections, small hills, bridges, and some easy sections on either gravel or paved trails. Marathon
COURSE - Will do the half marathon twice. Over 18 miles of single track running
AID STATIONS- Full aid at mile 5, 9, 13, 18 and 22. Water only at mile 8 and 21
CUT OFF - Finish time 7 hours and 3 hours and 15 minutes

Half Marathon
COURSE - Think of a lollipop course. Over 9 miles of single track running
AID STATIONS- Full aid at mile 5, 9 with water only at mile 8
CUT OFF - Finish time 5 hours


10k
COURSE - Is a out and back with 2 miles of single track running.,2 Miles of paved trail, 1 mile of gravel trail and 1 on grass trail
AID STATIONS- Water only at the turnaround
CUT OFF - Finish time 2 hours

A huge THANK YOU to all of the runners, everyone who came out to support their runners, and all of our amazing workers who helped make yesterday’s races a success!

As a race director, one of the biggest things you worry about is the weather. Even though you know you can’t control it, you’re constantly watching the forecasts, looking for the most favorable model, and refreshing every couple of hours hoping for great racing conditions. 😂

Well… we didn’t exactly get ideal conditions yesterday! 🌧️ But despite the rain, I think I heard more people say they enjoyed this race more than any other. And that makes me pretty happy!

The rain never turned into a downpour, and thankfully we avoided the high winds and lightning. It was just a steady rain throughout the race. Personally, I think running in the rain can be a blast—it’s just hard to take that first step out into it! 😆

The temperatures also worked in our favor. It wasn’t chilly, which helped keep everyone comfortable and warm despite the rain.

So again, THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday! Your attitude, determination, and willingness to race no matter what Mother Nature threw at us made the day special. ❤️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🏆 OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES FROM YESTERDAY’S RACE! 🏆

🌟 Performance of the Day goes to Gracia Sich! 🌟

Gracia absolutely crushed it yesterday, setting a new women’s marathon course record in some extremely challenging conditions! 🌧️🏃‍♀️

Rain fell from start to finish, making the rocks, roots, and wooden bridges especially difficult to navigate safely. But Gracia didn’t let the weather slow her down!

🔥 She shattered the previous course record by an incredible 14 MINUTES, finishing in 3:58:07!

And as if that wasn’t impressive enough, her amazing performance earned her 2nd place overall! 🥈

Congratulations, Gracia! What an incredible performance! 👏👏👏

🏅 Honorable Mention – Cooper Mumford

A huge shoutout also goes to the men’s marathon winner, Cooper Mumford, who put together an outstanding race by running negative splits and finishing with the 3rd-fastest time ever on the course!

⏱️ Winning time: 3:26:01!

That’s an incredible performance, especially considering the wet and challenging conditions.
