🥎 Valkyrie Fastpitch is still looking for players!

We just wrapped up two great nights of tryouts and we're building something special. We have spots available at both levels:

14U — Fresh roster this year. Looking for players of all positions, especially pitchers and outfielders.

16U/18U — Looking to field TWO teams this year and need pitchers, catchers, and position players to make that happen.

One more tryout session scheduled for August 12th. If your player missed the first two nights or is still looking for a home, come out and compete.

Valkyrie is a competitive travel program based in the St. Francis area. Development-focused, high-character, competitive softball.

Our 14U and 16U teams competed at Northern State in Cloquet this weekend. The 14U went 1–1 in pool play, while the 16U finished 2–0. Entering bracket play, the 14U were 2nd overall in Bracket A and the 16U were 3rd overall in Bracket A.

The 14U fell to Sartell, 6–10, and West Metro Thunder, 7–14. The 16U battled hard against Aitkin in their first bracket game but came up just short, then suffered a tough loss to Midwest Speed.

Great showing this weekend, ladies! State qualifiers are next weekend: the 14U are seeded 7th and play Zimmerman at 10:30 a.m. in Ramsey, while the 16U are the No. 1 seed in Tier B and will play at 8:00 a.m. in Big Lake against an opponent to be determined.
