Most manufacturers of e-bike hub motors and/or manufacturers of e-bikes with hub motors say that hub motor is "not serviciable". Their warranty period is typically 1-2 years and servicing the hub could void the warranty. But some manufacturers like Wired and Marsant's recommend routine maintenance and even show you how to do it. The maintenance consists of opening the hub/motor, cleaning it and greasing the clutch/gears. The gears can even be replaced if they are worn or damaged, that is IF you can find a compatible replacement. If your hub motor is frequently exposed to moisture and it is out of warranty, you might want to consider having it serviced.

Now offering basic suspension service in-house for Fox and Rock Shox forks and rear shox!

I've been hot-waxing a fair amount of chains for my bikes and for customer bikes in the last year or two. I definitely find that when installing a freshly hot-waxed chain without breaking it in that it can jump/slip on 12t and smaller cogs, shifting can be a bit rough and you can feel some drag for the first twenty miles or so. I've been wanting a break in tool but there are not many commercially available break in tools. I happened to have a spare Park Tool FP-2 floor plate and a handle from a tool box. I bolted some pulleys and the handle to the FP-2 and put a pulley on a bolt and put it in the drill. Seems to work pretty well.
