Harlow Fishing and I traveled to tanners creek on the Ohio river last Saturday to fish the Indiana Slab Masters. This was Curt’s second time and my first on this body of water. Fishing was great but our catching cost us. We lost 2-3 fish that would have helped a lot! I spent the day pitching and dipping brush with a 12’ Catch The Fever precision troll rod, Spillway Bait Tackle hand tied jigs and a live bait rig Charlie Hildreth showed me years ago. I highly suggest that anyone thinking about making a trip to tanners to do so!

We took a last minute trip to alum creek this past Saturday to fish with the Ohio Crappie club. This lake has been very good to us but you need humbled every now and then! The fish were finicky so I downsized and casted Spillway Bait Tackle custom wedge tails at roaming fish and we just couldn’t find a good sack of fish.
