I see this all the time in my sessions. Someone wants to share their work or speak up—but a voice inside says, “Not until it’s perfect.”
That voice isn’t trying to sabotage you. It’s trying to keep you safe.
In Internal Family Systems (IFS), we work with that voice gently. We learn what it’s afraid of and offer it something it may have never had: compassion.
