O'SHAQUIE FOSTER SHINES IN THE BIGGEST FIGHT OF HIS CAREER BY OUTCLASSING EMANUEL NAVARRETE OVER 12 ROUNDS EN ROUTE TO UNIFYING 3 SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT WORLD TITLES
O'Shaquie Foster 26-3 (12 KO's) outboxed, outclassed and down the stretch outfought Emanuel Navarrete 40-3-1 (33 KO's) over 12 rounds last night in a 130-pound World Title unification bout that served as the main event for a DAZN-streamed, Top Rank card originating from Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Foster utilized his assortment of skills: effective movement that largely negated being caught with heavy blows, pumping out a jab when at range, sharp counter-punching after wild misses, body shots on the inside, pressing forward in spots to push the usually pressure-applying, high-volume punching, unorthodox Mexican's back against the ropes to confuse and get the better of Navarrete in surprisingly decisive fashion over the course of the contest.
Despite building a comfortable margin on the judges' scorecards, Foster sealed the deal by dropping the rugged and durable now former 3-division World Champion twice in the final round by connecting with a pair of right hands upstairs that landed during exchanges.

After turning in a career-best, star-making performance against a top level opponent, who has been a dominant titlist for going on close to a decade from Super Bantamweight to Super Featherweight, Shock should earn a place in the top 10 of the mythical pound-for-pound rankings.
