Yikes. What is going on around us can be really scary right now. Although I know Dudas Fitness is the cleanest studio around, I know some of you may not feel comfortable leaving your homes for a workout. That is why I have decided to offer some virtual personalized options for you to help you stay active and on track toward your goals during this tough time.
I have decided to offer 2 main options to get personalized exercise programs tailored to YOUR needs and goals:
1-We can actually have a virtual session at a scheduled time. This option includes a 50 minute exercise session and will include real time feedback and form correction. Sessions will be conducted via Skype or Zoom.
2-I can send you an individualized exercise program via text or email.
Both options can include whatever equipment you already have OR none at all! If you’d like more information about the virtual training options, I’d love to talk to you about how we can make this work. Feel free to contact me via messenger, email or phone.

Since starting to train with Pilates, I’ve been adding it to my program 2-3 days per week. Even though I’m only lifting 2-3 days per week, I’m feeling stronger and more mobile than ever. I can’t believe how much adding Pilates has changed my training for the better. I know it can help you too!

Something new to try for meatless Monday! Went to Fresh Thyme and found some bbq jackfruit. Decided to throw it on a large salad with 1/8 cup cheese and 60 cal Simply Ranch dressing. Pretty good!
Spent the morning of taking & passing the Pilates Method Alliance teacher exam! I’m always looking for new ways to challenge my clients 😂😳🤗💪🏼
Pilates principle 8: integration. Integrated, full body movement with a mind body connection is what Pilates is all about. Integration uses the 7 other principles in conjunction with one another to create a total mind and body workout.
I love me some feet in straps! It might be my favorite series on the reformer.
Using Pilates principle 7- Control-I really get a great stretch through my hips. Control is all about using proper muscles within complete control. You may hear me remind you to keep your tailbone heavy in this series? Perfect form is one way we can control our movement to ensure we are using the right muscles in the right way.
Anyone else forget to breathe during long stretch?! Just me?! Breathing is our 6th Pilates principle. We need to breathe into our diaphragm to increase circulation and blood flow. Pilates focuses on connecting this breath with the movements to really hone in on the benefits.
Pilates principle 5-precision. Precision is creating movement deliberately. It is stressing the quality of movement over quantity. That’s where you find the real work in Pilates.
Even as recently as 3 years ago, I never thought my body could move like this. See, I injured my back in high school. I’ve struggled since then with lots of pain, lack of mobility and nerve issues down my leg. Moving my back into extension (even a tiny backbend) HURT...bad ☹️ I really thought I would just need to work around my injuries and be smart about my programming for the rest of my life and I could just “deal.” And that worked. I avoided movements that hurt and I felt ok.
Then I discovered Pilates. It’s been life changing for me. I can now move in ways I never thought were possible for me. Without pain. In fact, I feel BETTER. so much better! This move you see is a HUGE win for me.
