I've spent more time in the fear line than I'd like to admit.
It moves fast, that line. Everyone's in it. It feels normal. Safe, even. You tell yourself you're being responsible, practical, mature.
But there's that other booth. And something in you knows.
For me it showed up as a persistent whisper I kept trying to ignore, that the life I was building wasn't quite mine. That I was making choices from anxiety rather than from anything that actually felt true.
The Bhagavad Gita has a word for this: svadharma. Your own path. Your own nature. Not borrowed. Not fear-shaped.
I'm still learning to trust that quieter voice. But I've noticed: every time I have, something opened up. Every time I didn't, something closed down.

I took one of my digital works and had it printed using Pixels to see what that quality would be. I was more than pleased at the color fidelity to the original and with the quality of the actual framing craftsmanship. To see it turn out like this definitely lit a fire in me. I was up in the air about trying to sell my work but that has now changed.
I did my research beforehand but I was not expecting the quality to be this high. Even Robert was stunned and he's not very emotive.
I have a handful more of works on my site and a ton more to upload as I find the time (maybe today). All of the framing options on Pixels.com are highly customizable. Seriously, there are a LOT of options and a ton of other products you can buy too. I am mostly choosing to stick with framed art for now though.
This one is called "Rose Colored" and it's 24"x24". Now that I've seen it, I wish I had gone bigger. Link to my profile in comments.

I'm feeling that creative spark returning. I've decided to try to work in a way that combines my two passions: yoga and art. I'll explore the insights I've gained through my practice and how they've helped to shape my understanding of life.
I believe in embracing our strengths while also stretching into uncomfortable spaces that ultimately bring the greatest joy and fulfillment. Life's too brief to spend it on anything that doesn't truly warm your soul.
More to come...

Something that I tell myself regularly.

Here's a little something I've been working on lately. Frame styles, image size, and matting are customizable too.

The learning never stops. I never thought I'd make women's clothing, but I do like seeing my work on things in the 3D world and I think it can work well in time.
I have a lot of work to upload so it's just a matter of figuring out the websites (Le Galeriste and Pixels) that 'm using and making it happen. I hope they have decent men's clothing too.
As with everything in life, more to come.

I've been working on getting some of my digital artwork online and I think I've settled on Pixels.com as my platform of choice, along with Red Bubble - but I'm still working on that site for other products that they offer. But Pixels seems to be the best for actual work to hang on a wall.
This piece is called "Aqua Botanica". This print shown here is 36x36 but they can be made much smaller (or larger) and the frames and matting can be changed as well. 🙃
You can see the print itself at this link and I have a few others there that I will be posting soon: https://pixels.com/featured/aqua-botanica-jonathan-allin.html?product=framed-print
