⚾️ DOUBLEHEADER SWEEP FOR JR. ROCKETS 11U! 🚀🔥
​The bats were absolutely red-hot yesterday at Brake Field as our Jr. Rockets 11U swept the double-header against the Smithsburg Blue Crabs in a pair of high-powered, high-scoring battles!
​💥 GAME 1: Jr. Rockets 16, Blue Crabs 11
In a wild back-and-forth thriller, the Rockets offense came out swinging!
​Mathew F. had a monster performance, driving in 6 runs including a huge GRAND SLAM to left field in the 2nd inning! 💣💥
​Henry H. set the tone early with a 2-run blast over the centerfield fence in the 1st!
​Lincoln S. (3-for-3, 2 RBIs) and Kason C. (3 hits) locked down the plate, while Amarè P. and Ryder S. showed great patience, drawing 3 walks each.
​Tanner M. came in clutch on the mound, tossing 3 solid innings of relief with 4 Ks to hold off the Crabs' rallies!
​The squad ran wild with 14 stolen bases and played flawless defense with 0 errors!
​💥 GAME 2: Jr. Rockets 24, Blue Crabs 17
The offense kept the momentum rolling right into Game 2 with a massive 19-hit performance to secure the sweep!
​Bryce C. was dynamic at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs!
​Tanner M. went 3-for-4 to set the pace, while Sebastjan M., Ryder S., and Liam M. (doubled down RF line) all turned in multi-hit performances!
​Lincoln S. shut the door on the mound with 2.1 innings of scoreless relief, striking out 4 to seal the victory!
​The team piled up 13 walks and 18 stolen bases, once again playing clean defense with 0 errors on the field!
