Week 2 of Masen's transition to bowling two-handed is officially in the books, and the improvement from just one week ago has been incredible to watch.

The scores don't tell the whole story (90, 146, 123), but if you've watched the process, you'd see a bowler who's becoming more comfortable with every frame. The timing is improving, the confidence is growing, and the good shots are starting to happen more often.

Changing from a one-handed style to two-handed isn't easy. It's like learning the game all over again. There will still be ups and downs, but tonight showed that the hard work is already paying off.

We're not chasing scores right now as we're focused on building a strong foundation, one shot at a time. Excited to see where this journey takes him.

This year is going to look a little different for Masen.

On the drive home from Junior Gold, Masen and dad had a long conversation about what he wanted to do with his bowling this season. He's mentioned switching to two-handed bowling in the past, and if you know mom and dad, you know how much we love his one-handed game, but more importantly, we want him to be happy and continue enjoying the sport he loves.

So tonight in league, we decided to pull the trigger as every journey starts somewhere, and this is the beginning of a new chapter.

We drilled him a Roto Grip Transformer and an Storm Bowling IQ Tour to get started, and his new two-handed spare ball just arrived. We'll be getting that drilled in the pro shop very soon.

With this change, Masen's tournament schedule is also going to look very different this season. We won't be bowling nearly as many events while he learns, develops, and gains confidence in his new style. We know there's going to be a learning curve, and we're okay with taking a step back now so he can continue moving forward in the long run.

This season isn't about chasing titles or results as it's about growth, learning, and making sure Masen continues to love the game.

We appreciate everyone's support as he begins this exciting new journey, and we can't wait to share his progress along the way. 🎳💙

The scoreboard only tells part of the story. The lessons tell the rest.

Junior Gold didn't end the way Masen hoped, but this week wasn't defined by a finish on a standings sheet.

Finish: Tied for 300th Place

What those numbers don't show is the early mornings, the adjustments, the frustration, the perseverance, and the determination to keep competing every single game.

Every shot was an opportunity to learn.
Every block was a chance to grow.
Every challenge became another step toward becoming a better bowler and a stronger competitor.

Junior Gold isn't just about making the cut—it's about gaining experience against the best youth bowlers in the country. Those lessons will carry far beyond this tournament.

We're proud of the work Masen put in all week and can't wait to see where this journey leads next.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported him along the way, and to Storm, Turbo, I AM Bowling, and Pin Point Pro Shop for believing in him.
