The Bear Cave MD

It’s been 12 years.

Sometimes you get second chances.
Ones you didn’t deserve,
After burning all your bridges and destroying more relationships than you could build.
Sometimes you hide that from everyone outside,
And dwindle in thought
Amongst peeled linoleum tile and throw up tiered bathtubs.
Sometimes you find something that doesn’t love you back,
But offers you a chance to prove your own worth, however little you feel that may be.
And sometimes it takes everything from you,
Your health
Your longevity
Your money
Your future
And wonder was there really a difference between the two.

Thank you to my wife, my team, my gym, my sport for giving me a reason to change and choose to be here.
