Rowan Rangers 10u Baseball

Great weekend for the Rangers!

We’ve faced our share of challenges, but these boys continue to show up, work hard, and grow stronger together. We’re incredibly proud of their effort, resilience, and commitment to the team—and deeply grateful for the parents who make it all happen behind the scenes. It truly takes a village! ⚾️

The Rangers went 1–1 in Friday Night Lights and came up just short of the finals, but they competed with energy, battled every inning, and showed how much they continue to grow.

Proud of the way these boys keep improving, fighting through every challenge, and putting in the work. Their competitiveness and resilience keep driving them forward—and the journey is the best part! ⚾️

Logan “Pop-Tart” Shehan with the first ever Rowan Rangers (10u) home run! A moment in history and the first of many for this hard working kid! Way to go bud.

After a tough opening tournament in August, the Rangers bounced back this weekend with a Gold Bracket Runner-Up finish. 🥈⚾️

These boys showed a lot of grit and character, and we couldn’t be more proud of how they responded. There were definitely some ups, some downs, and probably a few more gray hairs for the coaches and parents. 😂

Big thanks to all the families and supporters who continue to get these boys where they need to be and cheer them on every step of the way.

The foundation is being set for great things. Proud of this group!

After another outstanding tryout this week, we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with so many talented young athletes. The enthusiasm from players, families, and coaches has been overwhelming.

Because of the tremendous interest—and thanks to additional coaches stepping up—we’re excited to officially announce a second Rowan Rangers 10U team this fall.

Our goal is to build one unified program, with both teams practicing and receiving instruction together at least once each week while competing on separate rosters.

To complete both teams, we’ll hold one final tryout on Monday, June 29, at 6:00 PM at Ellis Park (3541 Old Mocksville Rd, Salisbury).

Rosters for both teams will be finalized in the coming days after the final tryout.

If you know a player who may be interested, please help us spread the word. We can’t wait to get this program started!⚾️

We had a great turnout at our first Rowan Rangers tryout earlier this week, and we're incredibly thankful for everyone who came out. It's clear there is a strong desire for a local team that emphasizes player development, healthy competition, and having fun while playing the game the right way.

The talent, effort, and enthusiasm on display made a tremendous first impression. With one final tryout remaining, it's already obvious that our coaching staff will have some difficult decisions ahead. We appreciate every player and family who has shown interest in being part of the Rangers, and we're excited for what's ahead.

Thank you again for the support. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the field Monday evening. ⚾️

Every journey begins with a single step. Tonight, the Rowan Rangers take ours. We're excited to start building a team, a culture, and memories that will last far beyond this season.

For tryouts, only one of the two sessions is needed, but if your player wants to attend tonight and next Monday, that is perfectly fine. There will be a short registration form to complete prior to each session.

Open to any player that will not turn 11 before May 1, 2027.
