Last night was a doozy!!

McKenna got wrapped up in a wreck that ended her night. It was a bummer for sure.

Carter went out determined to get the win and he did!! He took the lead early but thanks to a couple cautions it was a nail biter (momma’s nerves were shot), it was a great race! He has spent a lot of time watching old races and learning from them and to see him put that knowledge to work was awesome!

Of course we celebrated with a post race meal at Waffle House! Tradition is tradition 😂

Next race is Tuesday May 26th!

Last night was night one of Outlaw Kart event! We completed Qualifying, heats and a Pit Stop Dash.

Carter qualified 4th out of 18, finished 3rd in his heat (after fighting his way from being sent to the back), and came in second in the Dash. Tonight he starts 2nd in the A main!

McKenna qualified 6th with a fast kart (only a few hundredths of a second between her and 1st), started heat in 4th and finished 2nd. Tonight she will start 9th in the A main!

There will also be a Dash for Cash tonight! Come out and cheer them on or watch live on DIRTVision app!

5/12/26 TUESDAY RACE RECAP

These two were looking sharp 🕺💃 in their new suits and shoes from Simpson Racing Products! Thanks to MawMaw, PopPop and William for sponsoring them.

Carter had a tough start due to some air pressure issues and unfortunately didn’t qualify his best. He started at the back of his heat but he was focused and made the transfer to the A feature. He started 7th and drove his best race yet. Avoided some wrecks, held his kart steady after some rubbing to a podium finish in 3rd place! Every week he gets better and better and learns so much each night.

McKenna had a decent night! She kept her kart on all 4 tires, she avoided many wrecks in her A feature and almost had a top 10 finish but ultimately finished 11th.

In true NC fashion we started the night at 76 degrees🥵 and needed the night at 43 degrees🥶. Shout out to Nana and Papaw for coming, cheering on the big kids and watching Landry. Special thanks to Brandon for helping Dad in the pits!

‼️Next race is the BIG Outlaw Kart Open! Monday is practice, Tuesday is qualifying, heats, and pit stop dash. Wednesday is feature night. You won’t want to miss this incredibly fun event!

It’s race day! Both kids are hitting the track and we are celebrating McKenna’s 14th birthday. Let’s go racing!!!

Carter was on it tonight! Every week he is making progress. For only being in the beginning of his second season, he is crushing it! Crew chief Dad is killing it too!

Saturday race #2

Our social media momager is behind on race updates because…..life 🤣. She promises to do better!

On Tuesday Carter finished 2nd in the A main after leading most of the race so we wanted to build off of that and keep the momentum going. Qualified lower than anticipated but after some adjustments Carter won his heat and started the A main 3rd. Unfortunately, he was caught up twice between the berm and 1st and 2nd place drivers. No fault of his, he just had nowhere to go and was sent to the back. He locked in and drove back to finish 7th out of 16. While it wasn’t that finish we wanted, we are proud of him for not giving up and still getting a top 10 finish!

McKenna sat this one out because of her wreck on Tuesday. She is doing well and we are working on getting her back on the track! She lived her best track sibling life!

It’s that time!!!! First Tuesday series race of the season is tonight!

We pray for a successful and safe season!

Last night we atteneded the Millbridge Speedway banquet and celebrated Carter’s 7th place Tuesday series finish in his rookie season. He also finished 7th in the Saturday series.

McKenna will run her first full season in Jr Wing and we are so excited to see what this season has in store for both of them!

🏁 That’s a wrap on Carter’s first full season in Beginner Box Stock at Millbridge Speedway! 🏁

Our driver wrapped up his Rookie year finishing 7th in both the Tuesday and Saturday series — a huge accomplishment considering most of the top finishers have been racing for years!

Carter made incredible progress this season and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. 💪🔥
