What new thing will you do this Monday?
Every Sunday, l roast a crapload of veggies (eggplant, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, broccoli, yams, peppers, and onions with garlic and olive oil) so I can have it throughout the week so I can eat healthier. Having veggies that are already cooked and ready to eat helps me get closer to my goal of 5 servings/day.

On the days I don’t feel like working out, I only allow myself to watch a show I’m excited to see (today, it’s The Walking Dead) if I’m on my treadmill. Even if I walk the entire time at least I’m doing something.

I think we're all guilty of putting our workouts and nutrition on hold when things get too hectic in our lives with the intention of starting back up when things return to normal. But really, is life ever "normal"? I really like this philosophy of "always something" instead of "all or nothing". It's a long article, but definitely worth the read.

Every day is a new day. Make a change...start something small, no matter how small. Drink more water, eat more vegetables, or park further from the entrance. Small changes are the easiest ones to make into a habit and you won’t feel defeated if you mess up a little. Take that step towards a better you than you were yesterday. ❤️❤️❤️

Welcome to My Workout Buddy! Here are some FAQs that might be helpful!
What is My Workout Buddy?
I will meet you at your Salt Lake County gym or rec center (anywhere I can join or come as a guest) for a 60 minute workout session. Working out with someone will keep you accountable and will help you remain consistent in your fitness goals.
Does this mean you’re my personal trainer?
Although I am an ACE certified personal trainer, this isn’t meant to be a personal training service. What I’ll do is actually work out with you. I’ll do: cardio, weights, group classes, spot you during weight lifting, help you stay motivated, help you become familiar with the equipment at your gym, help you with options to make exercises easier/harder, and help you work towards any fitness goals you may have.
Where do we work out?
Being familiar with your own gym helps build confidence and competency. The more you know about the equipment, the less time you’ll spend trying to figure out what workout you want to do. This is why we meet at your gym or rec center. Once you book a session, simply reply to the reservation confirmation email to let me know where we're meeting.

Why is there a cancellation fee?
In order to keep you accountable, there is a $10 cancellation fee if your session isn’t cancelled 12 hours before the session’s start time.
