Utah Royals 2025: Beyond the Pitch

The gift of Year 7 has come to a close. It’s a package full of joy, laughter, heartache, doubt, disappointment, frustration, elation, learning, shifting, evolving.. all wrapped up with a bow. In a year where life between the lines was challenging, my most memorable times and biggest joys came from the little moments in between. The downtime of training, the walks to and from the locker room, the dinners, the dances, and the jokes all in between.. these were the defining moments for me this year. I love this game. I love competing. I love pushing myself to the end of what my body can take. I love chasing my full potential, with idea that there’s always more to gain. But what I learned this year is that I love the people just as much, if not more. It feels so cliché to say that “the people make the place,” but this year, it was proven true more than anything else. So as year seven comes to close, I express my deepest gratitude for the moments Beyond the Pitch.

Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success. Last ride with my dawgs, let’s celebrate 🎉
