STX Warriors 14U Triumph Over Wizards 14U

STX Warriors 14U were triumphant over Wizards 14U 6-3 on Sunday.

STX Warriors 14U opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to four singles. STX Warriors 14U first got on the board when Carley Lang singled, scoring one run.

STX Warriors 14U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Isabelle Fewox tripled, and Teegan Smolka singled, each scoring one run.

Leah Sekula started in the circle for STX Warriors 14U. The right-handed pitcher surrendered one hit and one run over one inning, striking out none and walking two. Fewox appeared in relief for STX Warriors 14U.

STX Warriors 14U amassed 11 hits in the game. Lang and Emery Roemer each collected two hits for STX Warriors 14U. Fewox, Layla Villanueva, Lang, Billie Melton, and Presley Davis each drove in one run for STX Warriors 14U. STX Warriors 14U turned one double play in the game.

Analysa Geronimo, #5, #7, and #12 each collected one hit for Wizards 14U. #25, #4, and #12 each drove in one run for Wizards 14U.

STX Warriors 14U will travel to SA Ruthless Futures Delgado 14u for their next game on Sunday.

STX Warriors 14U Loses Despite Out Hitting Texas Bombas

Even though STX Warriors 14U collected 11 hits to Texas Bombas's nine, they still fell 8-6 on Saturday. Carley Lang and Leah Sekula each collected two hits for STX Warriors 14U.

STX Warriors 14U fought back after falling down by six runs in the first inning. The comeback fell just short though. STX Warriors 14U closed the gap by scoring on a home run, a solo home run, a single, and a single.

Texas Bombas got on the board in the top of the first inning after #2 singled, #3 singled, #5 doubled, #6 grounded out, #7 singled, and #9 singled, each scoring one run.

STX Warriors 14U tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to an inside the park home run by Emery Roemer, an inside the park home run by Sekula, a single by Brooke Fewox, and a single by Lang.

Texas Bombas captured the lead, 8-6, in the top of the third after #6 tripled, and #8 singled, each scoring one run.

Isabelle Fewox started the game for STX Warriors 14U. The righty gave up eight hits and eight runs over two and one-third innings, striking out none and walking two.

STX Warriors 14U piled up 11 hits in the game. Roemer went 1-for-2 at the plate as the right fielder led the team with three runs batted in.

Texas Bombas collected nine hits in the game. #6 led Texas Bombas with two runs batted in. They went 1-for-2 on the day. #5 went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Texas Bombas in hits. #7 and #8 each stole multiple bases for Texas Bombas. Texas Bombas turned one double play in the game.

Second-Inning Spurt Lead STX Warriors 14U Past STGV VTX

STX Warriors 14U scored six runs in the second inning, which helped them defeat STGV VTX 9-1 on Saturday. Isabelle Fewox lined out, scoring one run, Emery Roemer singled, scoring one run, and Teegan Smolka tripled, scoring four runs.

STGV VTX were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run.

STX Warriors 14U extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Hannah Bryand and Roemer.

Fewox opened the game for STX Warriors 14U. The right-handed pitcher gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking none.

STX Warriors 14U amassed 12 hits in the game. Smolka drove the middle of the lineup, leading STX Warriors 14U with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-2 on the day. Smolka, Bryand, Brooke Fewox, and Roemer each collected two hits for STX Warriors 14U.

#7 and #6 were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for STGV VTX.

Game Goes Down To The Wire As STX Warriors 14U Loses To Velocity On Final Play

A walk-off left STX Warriors 14U on the wrong end of a 5-4 defeat to Velocity on Saturday. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the third when #8 drew a walk, scoring one run.

STX Warriors 14U lost despite out-hitting Velocity five to three. Brooke Fewox led STX Warriors 14U with two hits.

STX Warriors 14U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Teegan Smolka grounded out, scoring one run, and Billie Melton singled, scoring two runs.

Velocity captured the lead, 4-3, in the bottom of the second when #6 singled, scoring one run, #7 hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, and #1 singled, scoring one run.

Carley Lang grounded out, which helped STX Warriors 14U tie the game at four in the top of the third.

Isabelle Fewox opened the game for STX Warriors 14U. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and four runs (three earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking one.

Melton led STX Warriors 14U with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Smolka stole two bases.

#7 seized on their opportunities, leading Velocity with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. They went 1-for-1 on the day. #7, #1, and #6 each collected one hit for Velocity.

Next up for STX Warriors 14U is a game at STGV VTX on Saturday.
