"Please excuse this interruption via Messenger. I want to tell you something. I am so happy for Jonathan. He deserves all the happiness in the world. I want to tell you a story. I first met Jonathan when I used to live in San Antonio. Since I lived close to lifetime fitness I wanted to get in better shape. Around the end of 2012 or early 2013 I met Jonathan because I was in need of a personal trainer.
He told me he was super busy and was hard to take on a new client. However, he saw something in me and agreed almost immediately. I did not realize it to years later why this happened. We hit it off right away. Soon he told me his story and how he overcame a broken back as well as other areas to where he is today. I followed him as he left Lifetime to go out on his own. He pushed me hard and the results were I was in the best shape I had been in years.
Then 2014 happened. I stopped working out as much. The job I had at the time was so so stressful. I got in a car accident where I was concussed and the headaches each day were almost unbearable. My health seemed to worsen. By late summer I had a eerie feeling what was happening and it was soon confirmed about a month later by doctors. My cancer has returned. It was a more ferocious battle the second time around. A battle I almost did not survive. But survive I did and it made me a stronger and more mentally tough person."
Only years later did I realize what had happened. God had put Jonathan in my path to make me stronger. Not so much externally (which he did) but to prepare me internally and emotionally for a battle I had no idea was coming soon for me. Jonathan is one of the greatest I have come across in my life. He is a shining light to help guide others."
