Our play of the weekend comes from none other than #2 Ezekiel "Zeke" Flores!
With the new season starting we placed him in a new role setting the stage for who hes going to become as a player and leader here in the next year or so! He had been struggling the last few games but he never gave up. We know what his capabilities are and who he is so we pulled him aside and gave him a self confidence check letting him know we believe in him and to go out there and keep playing zeke ball! This game we were all tested as coaches and players but never gave up! With about 26 seconds left coaches called a timeout tied up 6-6 in a very well played and coached game from both teams! We drew up a play we felt good about, getting him in the right spot where he'd been comfortable shooting coming off a monster screen from our very own ms. "Lock -down" Leia to hit the game winner!!! This play was a prime example of never giving up and being relentless! The play almost ended with a turn over but as it being Zeke he didnt give up and kept his dibble alive long enough to get him right where he wanted to knock it down after getting another clutch screen from Leia!! Way to go Zeke and SA Glory 1/2nd graders coming out with the tough win!! They still have a long way to go but boy will they be scary all in due time!

Mr. Gael has been with us about 3 months but has some awesome at home training in his moms!
He doesnt question anything we do just shows up, does his job at practice, and had fun in the process ! This is what were about at SA Glory! Building up the next generation and giving them a place to be happy and love the game!
This kid was twice his size and didnt faze him! He knew his assignment and boxed him out! 💪 the kid was 🏃♂️ away at one point 🤣😎

Our 3/4th grade team got started over night 2 1/2 weeks ago and have taken the league by storm! They started off 0-3 as a new team playing together but have been in all games. They kept fighting all weekend a showed up and Showed out today! 1st game took a commanding 15-1 W! But boy that 2nd game you just had to be there! We were up most of the game, went down 7-14 to start the 4th but they came out and show what SA Glory is all about! They came back as a team fighting non stop till it came down to our team captain "Lock down leia" came in and sealed the W with the walk off free throws! As a coach you only dream of games like this and to come out on top knowing how hard they fought was nothing short of amazing! This groups young,hungry, and here to stay 😎
In our morning 3/4th game grade game we called a time out to set up our in bounds play to get a needed bucket in a tight ball game and our kids ran it to absolute perfection! Mr.Roi came in flying off the perfectly set up play and pass by Gideon! Coach Josh lost control and the perfect executed play here! 😎
Our big guy "zeke" with the hustle play of the game! He made the right pass, got in bounds following the shot, and came out with the epic turn around jumper 😎 👌 Hes gonna be one to watch!

We've been grinding as coaches and leaders! Its not been easy by any means but weve kept going!! Planted the seeds and now its time to watch our crop grow! With that being said Coach Mo here to announce we have 5 full running teams from 6u-8th grade! Were so blessed to have our group of parents, coaches, and most of all some of the most humble yet hungry kids in the city!! 🙏 🙏
All this started on Coach Joshua Matthew Jimenez kitchen table and was nothing but a dream we have had since we were kids. 8 months later SA Glory is THRIVING!! 🙏
With our new add ons were pushing over 60/70 kids when were in full force! We've created an organization that families love to be part of because its all built by them and for their kids! Were not a money first organization and have given every kid a chance to grow and boy have they all! Were just getting started and already watching the blessings pour in!
