Scholastic All-America applications are now open for athletes who have completed 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and at least one 2025 Winter Juniors cut, or at least one Para Scholastic All American Standard based on self-reported grouping (P1, P2, P3) for athletes with disabilities. Many thanks to our STX Age Group Committee for another great athlete clinic! The clinic was held in Round Rock and led by Olympians Josh Davis and Carson Foster, who ran the on-deck and in-water sessions for our athletes. Athletes learned more about competition, practiced in-water drills and racing, and had some great photo opportunities with Josh and Carson. Thank you to our Age Group Committee for coordinating all of the details and for offering this great opportunity to our athletes! And thank you to members of our STX Athlete Committee and to Josh and Carson for supporting this event!

Congratulations to our 2026 South Texas Swimming scholarship recipients! We were thoroughly impressed by the amazing accomplishments of all of the STX senior athletes who applied. These student-athletes have worked hard in the pool while also supporting their communities and the sport of swimming as outstanding leaders and volunteers.

Congratulations to the South Texas Swimming Open Water Zones team for some great swims! Special shout-outs to Natalia Cepparo for her 6th place finish in the 11/12 2.5K race and to Maddie Griffeth and Dalton Brown for earning the Brady Harris Memorial Award, which is awarded to one female and one male athlete who embody Brady's fun loving, enthusiastic spirit and energy. Thank you to our Head Coach Tracey Spurgeon, and assistant coaches Cody Mackall, Alexa de Luna, Mikey Calvillo, and Bill Spurgeon for organizing this trip and for their leadership for our athletes!
