Geronimo Guerra is a native of San Antonio Tx, and has been employed by At&t and a loyal member of local 6143, Communication Workers of America CWA for the past 20 years. Geronimo comes from a strong union family which they themselves where loyal members of Local 6143 CWA. Mr Guerra was nominated and elected in 2015 by his members in his organization to represent them as there Vice President he was nominated again ran unopposed and was acclimated into a second term. As his years in office he has attended and completed officer’s training by District 6 he has also positioned Local 6143 as major power house in our city and in our district. Mr Guerra knows and believes in the partnership of both a strong employer and Union he has had the opportunity to bring both job growth and job security to our city for our members, and members from different city’s. Mr Guerra has held an e-board position at our local Central Labor Council in San Antonio AFLCIO sits among all the great labor leaders in our City, Mr Guerra also had the opportunity to be nominated by the CLC to hold a position to represent Labor on the San Antonio Texas Work Force Commission there he was able to work with Top community leaders in our City to provide fair wages and child care so families could strive in our economy, he also learned while serving on the board that he was blessed to be represented by a union CWA which all employees where rated at the highest level of pay in our city. Mr Guerra Work ethic and commitment is to his members. I’ve been a proud member for 20 years of Local 6143 CWA and I am Running for President I am ready to provide a voice for all members I believe together we will succeed I will be a leader who puts the voice of our members first I will lead with commitment and humility.

I do this with honor and support from all my past Chief Stewards and Stewards and members that I have had pleasure of representing. I’m Ready to be President to represent the best interests to all members from our Outside Techs to the Call Centers workers and all our Retail Wireless Workers. Together we can hold this company accountable we can fight for job security and make the right decisions for all of our members. I am ready 6143 and I accept your nomination.

Sisters and Brothers of CWA I except y’all’s nomination for your next Local 6143 President..., I have had the pleasure of serving my chiefs and all my stewards and members inside and out. We together have created jobs in San Antonio we have fought the company and have been very successful. I will be a President for all I will do my best to creat new work for our members to get involved not only with the company but also holding our legislators accountable as well. We have built this company we have fought strong for our contracts we are Union. Congratulations to Gracie to your acclamation to represent our Tier 2 members in the National Internet service contract also shout out to Luis and Juan for their acclamation to represent our Wireless Sector together we will be stronger !!!!
