St. Mary's University students are traveling to Springfield, Illinois to visit the prosthetic cork leg of Mexican General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna.

Our mission is to bring public attention to invite the people of Illinois to reconsider the “war trophy” status of the artifact being held in their name, and support repatriation of Santa Anna’s leg to Mexico.
