Rosen Trained: Personal Training

One of my favorite training shots ever captured. Grappling, wrestling, and fighting are languages your body must learn to speak. It takes a long time to become fluent. To be dynamic, and improvisational on instinct. No second thought. No pre analysis. Just trusting your body to do what you’ve trained it to do.

See the whole picture. The positives and the negatives. If you only look at what you did well, you delude yourself and you’re never going to evolve. If you only focus on the negatives, you dig yourself a deeper and deeper hole that becomes near impossible to climb out of. I’m proud of what I did well. I’m frustrated at what I did poorly. I’m disappointed in my performance, but I’m also excited to get back in there and show a better version of myself. This sport is a roller coaster. It’s unforgiving. It’s the best.

2018 I was the first fight on the prelims. 2022 I’m the 3rd to final fight on one of the largest regional promotions in the US.
