Y’all! Texas-sized tension requires smarter tools.

Whether your client’s been hauling hay, hunched over a laptop, or sitting in I-35 traffic for 3 hours... Their nervous system is on high alert.

Slow, gliding, myofascial barefoot strokes can signal SAFETY. And safety is the first step to reducing pain.

In our Texas classes with Jeni & Hillary, we don’t just teach where to step.
We teach you how to:
✅ Respect the nervous system
✅ Work with persistent pain
✅ Support interoception and client awareness
✅ Use your words to reinforce your work

With sustained, myofascial, non-threatening pressure, your feet deliver more than just depth...
You offer:
🔸 Interoceptive input
🔸 Nervous system reassurance
🔸 A chance for the brain to de-threaten a previously painful area

Jeni Spring and Hillary Arrieta (seen in this picture above, not on high alert, enjoying pool time in Houston together) are on a mission to help Texas LMTs upgrade their understanding of pain for the sake of their clients HEELING, through resourceful education that works with the fascia, the bones, nervous system.. all of it.

Train your feet to speak to your clients pain perception and sensation awareness through your Sole: look at your schedj to see when you can train with us this year!

👣Hillary is in Dallas/Plano teaching FasciAshi Fundamentals, Intermediate and Barefoot Matwork

🥰

People often ask why I spend so much time teaching.

The answer is simple: teaching forces you to understand your work more deeply.

As an approved instructor with the Center for Barefoot Massage, I help other licensed massage therapists learn how to safely and effectively apply barefoot techniques in clinical practice.

Teaching keeps me constantly refining my thinking about fascia, movement, pressure application, and nervous system regulation.

The result? Every client who walks through my door benefits from that continued study and commitment to excellence.

Education isn't something I do in addition to my practice. It's part of what makes my practice better.

15 years ago today, I had my local biz, Heeling Sole Barefoot Massage all set up, just me myself and I, massaging early morning at a running event on a Lavender Farm somewhere north of San Antonio... I didn't take a pop up tent because the goal was to pack up by noon after the last runners made it across the line, and I wanted one less thing to bring.

I didn't know Texas back then as well as I do now... Guess what happened? It got HAWT. The vinyl of the massage table was so hot that it hurt to touch, so I started pouring ice chest water on it before people laid down, and then I just dipped my feet in the ice chest itself and used that moisture as the "lotion". They loved it!

I was out of water bottles anyway, so that ice chest was a life saver! A great idea was born on a Lavender Farm that hot, hot morning!

Massaging at a lavender farm today next to te Barefoot Wine booth! I hope I get some barefoot shwag!!!!
