Big Red and Barbacoa 5K Run/Walk The Big Red and Barbacoa 5K Run/Walk is on Saturday June 27, 2026.

As many of you know, our mission is to raise funds that help underserved youth participate in running by covering race entries, providing training opportunities, and purchasing equipment and gear they need to succeed.
We’re excited to help promote a new 5K that will benefit the Brackenridge Cross Country Team! This is an affordable event that includes a finisher medal for every participant.
Not ready for a full 5K? Grab two friends and join the 3-person relay, where each runner completes approximately one mile.
The race will be held on August 1st, and we would love your support. Please consider signing up, sharing the event, or passing it along to cross country athletes as they begin preparing for their upcoming season.
