Jason Nobles and I were thinking that maybe we can all gather in the parking lot of Northwoods tomorrow around 7 PM to show our solidarity and support in force for our neighbors down in South Texas. I have no doubt that some of you in someway may have been affected by this tragedy. Maybe we can take up a collection and find some good out of this horrible situation.
Without the need for response I know a few of us even on short notice can take time away and meet in the parking lot at 7 PM tomorrow night maybe if just for a few minutes out of our busy schedules. I’ll clear it with Dale but I’m sure he’ll be fine with it please forward to anyone else that is part of our community and let’s get together in force

Guys. I have a friend coming in town. I'd pay $50 for your spot if you need a sub for one of the first two skates.

Subject: AT&T skate roster full.
Okay boys, here’s the latest news. We are a go for the AT&T skates, you must pay for the full package ($260.00) at the 1st skate. Spending time chasing youse around to pay up is not going to happen. If you don’t pay at the 1st skate, then you will not be on the roster for the AT&T skates.
1. If you are a scratch for the 1st skate, make arrangements to get the check to Mike at the 1st skate. Have a buddy bring your check with him.
2. This is very important, so pay attention. Because we had an incident last year, we were extremely close to not having a skate package this year. The Rampage know who was involved as does everyone else for that matter. We are on double secret probation this year, Read Mike’s reply below, you will be immediately barred from the arena, not get reimbursed, and you will most likely cause the rampage to stop offering this skate package. In addition, your name will be known as the k**b who fecked up this skate for everybody. I don’t want to be a prick but if I see any players messing, I’m gonna trade one of youse so youse will be on the same team. If youse continue to mess, then you hit the showers for that skate. If any punches are thrown, then you are history! If I sound like I”m harping on this, you’re fecking right, cause I am. I’m taking a chance here, so let’s make sure these are fun enjoyable skates, and if you don’t think you can control your temper playing a game that we don’t keep score and where no one will discover you, then let me know and you can save your money for the men’s league at Northwoods.
3. Subs. If you have a sub for one of the skates, I need to know ahead of time so I can get your subs name on the roster for that skate. If you don’t, then your sub will make the trip for nothing as he/she won’t be allowed into the building. I will not call in anyone on the sub list unless we fall below 22 skaters. I want youse to have as much ice time as possible. Remember, no lallygagging knee grabbers, skate hard and switch out.
4. First skate will be Wednesday December 13th. I’ll keep youse updated as we go along.
5. Goalies, They went for my deal, so your cost will be $173.50 for the package and youse will each get 7 flex tickets. (I’ll donate one of my tickets so it comes out even). My initial idea is that one of youse will switch out every 20 minutes, 80 minutes each. Let me know what youse think.
5. I don’t mind helping to put these skates together, youse have helped make it easy for me and I thank youse Let have fun, and a few laughs. If youse have any questions, feel free to contact me. Soup

Hi Soup,
Sorry for the delay. I have been out of the office since Thursday afternoon. I want to get back to you on a couple things.
1.) Goalie situation: I can allow the 3 goalies to split the 2 packs this year. That is ok with me. We can work that out with the three of them.
2.) Fighting problem: We will NOT allow any kind of violence this year and the problem last year almost brought an end to the group. This year we will have special agreements written up for all players to sign and if there is a physical altercation then the parties involved will be immediately kicked from the building and the league without reimbursement. We don't want to be the referees for this league and are expecting you and the players to govern the league appropriately. If need be we will shut down the Men's Skate entirely to avoid the problem. I will leave the decision of who and who doesn't skate in this league entirely up to you. I know that there have been multiple players approach me about a certain individual and I am sure you aware of who that is. You as the skate leader with the group need to decide if certain players are worth the liability. Just get back to me shortly with the decision.
3.) Women in the league: I do not believe it will be a problem to get them a separate changing room. I will look into getting them a separate room.
4.) Subs: This is hard for me to keep up with so I will need to know who the player is subbing for ahead of time. I can't just have people saying they are subbing that show up for multiple skates.
5.) Payment: Last year it took multiple weeks and constant calls/emails to track down payment. This year the payment will be made in full by the first skate. Otherwise, the player will not be allowed. It took a great deal of work and time to track everyone down last year and it will be much easier this way.
Once you have settled the problem with who is and isn't skating I will address the entire group with the new arrangements. Keep me update.
Hopefully this helps with the questions and concerns. If you need anything else from me in the meantime please let me know.
Thanks!

We have one slot left for a 24 skater roster, but I do have a question. Last year we did have one incident where two players got physically annoyed with each other. The same player involved is on this years roster, so I need to know what the policy is. Do you want this player to be able to skate with an awareness that any problem will result in immediate ejection? It’s your building, so your rules. I just need to know how you want to handle this as I don’t want to ruin such a great package. Thanks and take care, Soup
