Hey Guys. Just saying hi since I am rarely on FB. Hope everyone is safe during this Covid pandemic. I am loving working from home, but I know many who want to get back to their offices and many brothers who are struggling with their work volume being down and others who are out of work. My prayers are with you and if you guys are out there, post stuff here in case anyone can help help you out with referrals. I know if you have the Security+ from CompTIA, I can definitely get you an interview for a good job with DoD.

Walk for Autism - Any Baby Can San Antonio 02/22/2019

The Any Baby Can Walk for Autism will be our next Community Service Event. This event was chosen as a way to show our support for one of our brothers and his family. This will be a Phi Delta Theta San Antonio Alumni Club annual event, in addition to the ALS Walk and Wreaths Across America.

Your participation in this official alumnus fundraising event is needed and all brothers, families and guests are encouraged to attend. The entry fee is currently only $10, and the walk is only 2 miles and will be great way to start our day together. Families are welcome and children under 10 can participate in the walk for free. Below, you’ll find the information for the event and how to register for Brother Steve and Rachel Trevino’s team, Diego’s Doers.

Superhero 5K – Starts at 8 a.m.
15th Annual Walk for Autism – Starts at 9:30 a.m.
Children 10 and under are FREE and do not need to register for the Walk for Autism.
All participants of 5K need to register and pay fee regardless of age.
Discounted Tickets on sale now! Only $10 for the walk, it will go up to $15 when discount tickets are sold out.

Click on register link again
Select the Walk for Autism $10 ($15 for a later registration date)
After filling in buyer information, select the Walk Registration 1 section after filling in information, select Fundraise as Team , select Join Team , scroll through and select Diego’s Doer’s

We encourage as many brothers and their families as possible to attend. Let’s get out there and demonstrate our Phi Delt Community Service Spirit!!

The Men of Texas Xi morn the loss of T. Glen Cary.

Brother Cary gave a lifetime of service to our country, his community and, tirelessly, to our fraternity. His contributions to Phi Delta Theta include a term as President of the General Counsel and decades on the Expansion Committee.
Glen was a true friend and mentor to many Texas Xi undergrads and a stedfast supporter of our chapter.
We extend our prayers and deepest condolences to his family.

Funeral Services for Brother Raul January will be held at Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg, TX. His viewing will be Sunday, October 18th from 5-9pm with a prayer service at 7PM.
Funeral Services will be held Monday October 19th at 10am and Burial at 12pm. Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg is at 4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539.
