Going public with the fact that I have really struggled this last year with my fitness and nutrition. In spite of running my first marathon and completing a couple other races, I didn't stick with routine exercise. I also fell into some unhealthy eating habits. The end result is tight clothes and feeling blah!

I am recommitting today with the 21 Day Fix Extreme program from Beachbody.

Let's do this!! I turn 40 in a little over two months. I will get back to my fit life!

Good morning! I started running because I joined the Army, but I pretty much hated it for ten years. šŸ˜

Four years ago, Beachbody programs helped me lose weight and get in better shape. I also started running and training for a half marathon. I ran my first one in April 2012. Last month I ran my first marathon in Austin.

I don't run all the time, but when I do, I love it. Today I had the opportunity to run around Ft. Leavenworth. This is such a beautiful and historic place. I never would have experienced this place in this way, if I hadn't become a runner.

Sorry I have been MIA the last month or so. I am still plugging my way through Insanity. Taking longer than two months but I am determined to do every workout on the schedule.

I post today to tell you all about a new program being released in two days, P90. If P90X seems too extreme for you, this is worth checking out. It is designed for people looking to get back into fitness, starting with the basics. Tony Horton is the trainer. This is an an example of results from someone who did it for six months.
