Working with Today's Children to Build Tomorrow's Leaders The Jr. Hornets were founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated and well hearted parents and volunteers.
Our purpose is to provide youth within the San Antonio area an opportunity to play football without prejudice and participate in cheerleading to learn the skills necessary to compete and become future leaders of tomorrow. Our intentions are to use sports and cheerleading as a tool to develop hard work, discipline, and the fundamentals of perseverance by using these sports to help teach skills of teamwork loyalty and sportsmanship.

From Mrs. Mitchell:
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of my beloved husband, Paul “P.J” Mitchell, who passed away on February 20th, 2024. P.J passed away so unexpectedly. We will all miss him more than words can express. The funeral service information is below for those that would like to attend.

Registration is still open. Practice will begin July 17th @ Copernicus Park 6:15- 7:45. All registration fees will be due by July 24th, to ensure we get uniforms on time. We still offer our family/friend discount. You pay for 2 the 3rd child is free. If you refer 2 people and they pay in full, your child will be free. Coach Memphis and his staff pouring into the kids after a great workout. He brought out some college athletes to speak! One to mention the Speedster out University of Georgia Anthony Evans Jr. Dean Bulldawgs Fontabian Donalson, and Christian Donalson to mention as well. Dawgs everywhere.
