Mismatched Creative I often feel that some of the more traditional core exercises lack functional compound movement. In my own training, I’ve been adding in more movement to my core work. I’ve also added this concept into training my clients and yoga students (with modifications when needed of course). Ever hear the saying “muscle weighs more than fat” - this is false. A pound is a pound, BUT because muscle tissue is more dense it takes up less “space” than fat! •TWO-Muscles are more metabolically active than fat. This means they burn more calories than fat, even at rest! Sooo, burn even MORE calories daily?? Yes please! •THREE- To the WOMEN out there- Weight Training does not make you “bulky or manly” (if you think this... what do you think about me? 🤔 #throwinshade lol)
We do not genetically have the potential to develop bulky muscles, because we simply do not produce a significant amount of testosterone to do so.

This statement is based off the Myth that you need to eat 6-8 meals a day or every 2-3 hours to “stroke your metabolic fire”.

Assuming if you stopped eating like that and your metabolism would “stop” means you’re dead while you sleep 😑🤦🏼‍♂️

It’s nothing more than feeling your Insulin spike when you constantly graze like a cow every 2-3 hours. -

Insulin has its purpose in muscle growth, obviously, but if eating so often “burns calories” and keeps your “metabolism lit” then why do we have an obesity issue? 🤔

Now, when you’re truly a competitive athlete and train with higher intensity on a regular basis and need the extra fuel and recovery, then yes, you need to fit in more calories anyway you can into your schedule. -

As you train more often for your general fitness needs, yes you can take in more calories to help recover and fuel the body while still reaching body composition goals. -

But even then you still don’t need 6-8 meals or eat every 2-3 hours. Waste of time, inefficient, and your stomach won’t like you much. -

And “starvation mode” causing you to store fat and gain weight? Stop that. You’re just imbalanced in your eating:performance training.

Prisoners of war and people in WW2 camps knew starvation. And they didn’t come out fat. #onlineweightloss #bodytransformationchallenge #onlinehealthcoach #itrainonline #swiftstrength eat nutrient foods, fit them into your lunch and dinner schedule first. Train harder. Adjust from there.

Note: you can eat 6-8x a day a lose weight but you gotta be in a caloric deficit overall and once again it’s less efficient for most people’s lives.
